TS3 Architects was recently awarded 1st Place honors in the 2017 Virginia ASID and Virginia/WV IIDA Interior Design Excellence Award program. The IT Center at Concourse in Norfolk, VA was recognized in the corporate, over 35,000 square feet category. This is the second design award this project has received; the first was in 2016 by HRACRE for excellence in interior design.
St. Paul’s Apartments, City Context
Construction is underway for St. Paul’s Apartments in downtown Norfolk, VA. Located between Wood and Bute streets in downtown Norfolk, this $14.5M, EarthCraft platinum, 5-acre development wraps around historic St. John’s A.M.E. Church and is adjacent to the bus terminal and within walking distance to HRT light-rail.
The apartments will be 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units ranging in square footage from 620 to over 1,200 in 7 low-rise buildings. The development will also include a “Cornerstone Lifestyle” clubhouse, pool, playground, grilling area, fitness center, and urban park.
